What to expect

SkinPen works by creating tiny micro wounds within the skin that trigger our body’s natural wound healing response. This response accelerates the production of collagen, elastin, Hyaluronic acid and growth factors which organically begin to renew and regenerate our skin.

All skin treatments begin with a comprehensive consultation where you’ll share your medical history, background and treatment goals. Together, we’ll formulate a treatment plan to achieve your objectives, which may include other treatments and skincare.

Once your skin has been thoroughly cleansed, we’ll begin applying our skin needling technology to your treatment area. You’ll experience a vibrating sensation as many micro needles gently penetrate your skin to create micro wounds to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The sensation will vary depending on the depth of your treatment, which will be tailored by your therapist depending on your needs and goals. Some areas may be mildly to moderately uncomfortable, but not unbearable. However, the needling component itself is surprisingly quick, lasting around 15 minutes.
